ALICE Frame

The classic LC-1 ALICE field pack frame, built in the United States. This is the same external tubular aluminum architecture U.S. forces have used for decades: rigid enough to carry a loaded medium or large ALICE pack (or a modern ALICE-style ruck, to include our Burro systems) and transfer weight off the shoulders onto the hips.

The frame is constructed from riveted tubular aluminum with horizontal crossmembers. It accepts our standard ALICE Upgrade Kit, or other ALICE compatible shoulder straps, kidney pad, and waist belt, and the lower section is compatible with the LC-1 cargo support shelf for ammo cans, crew-served weapons, or oversized loads. Attachment points and envelope-pocket geometry remain true to the original system so existing packs, adapters, The Burro / MOLLE adapter kits mount without modification.
