The TIC (Tracer Invisible-Covert) Carrier is completely bare and features built-in wings with Velcro over the wings which enable the use of the TIC cummerbund, keeping the front and back as low pro as possible while the MOLLE slots on the backside of the wings still enable the attachment of radios, magazine pouches, and or other accessories like knives, and medical kit to be stored off to the sides of the plates without having to use structural cummerbunds.
What makes the TIC/TAC/TOW different? The design and construction of the bags. The entire front, including the wings and straps is one solid piece of Squadron/B52. This accomplishes 5 things:
1. - Conceals the edges of the plate better (for covert use).
2. - Makes it extremely strong and eliminates the risk of shoulder blowouts (versus having a strap that is sewn on or into the bag.
3. - Takes pressure off the collar bones.
4. - Allows us to build in the features like the wings and keeps production costs down (so we can keep the price competitive).
5. - Makes the front of the bags more attractive and more durable.
